About Joey Craig

Seattle Recording And Performing Artist - Singer/Songwriter

Joey Craig is someone referred to as one of the most prolific songwriters of our time. He has written a lot of different styles of music over the years and helped inspire a great number of people along the way. Bringing out the best of what others have to offer is one of his biggest thrills he has as he sees the path to peace of mind comes from being all that one can be. If he can inspire one person to be more of who they really are in life, he is satisfied beyond any applause or personal gain as that is what he thinks is the core of his musical experience. Just having faith in the gift and letting if roll out in front of you. In fact, he hasn’t sat down to write a song in well over a decade as most of his music seems to “Drop out of the Sky” as he puts it, full songs seemingly effortlessly.

I personally have seen this phenomenon in action countless times. From the first hint of a new songs hook to the finished product. Just the way he said it would be from the first times he ever spoke of them. Joey takes no credit for his musical talents, instead referring to the God Given Gift he has been given. He is quite good at that. His varied styles of music are removed from most of “What Is Currently Popular” on the scene today, as he puts out songs as they come to him, the “way” that they come to him. Unfortunately, he has written so many songs over the years that he has forgotten to the wind literally more songs than he has currently in his catalog, which is around two hundred fifty some songs or more. Still, he has a solid repertoire of songs that he has managed to capture as well, and is currently recording as much as possible.

His Sound is fresh yet timeless and shows the talent this musician truly has. His solid lyrics and music surprisingly crosses broad genres seemingly effortlessly.

Anyone is sure to find music to download to their device that will soon become one their go to songs as they have a way of somehow taking you to a place that you desire to be. He is currently in the process of capturing some of the best music of his career. I also might add that the music I hear of his feels as though it itself embodies the spirit of most of the music that has been around for a long time, while seemingly presenting it in a way that breathes new life into the things that make music come together the best.

He has been evolving continuously from his very first performance with the Joe Bunny Band, in which he found himself head lining his very first show. The other bands that day were “Liquid Rainbow” and “Circus Circus”. The Event Venue was “The Seattle Concert Theater”. That was awhile back and he seems to have grown with each and every experience of his as time moves on, so does his keen insight into the world around him. I asked him once how he viewed his music, and he said, “I know what your going through, Your not alone, and, It will be okay”. To Joey, that is the power of his music. The truth is what drives this creative individual to his musical endeavors. He is an accomplished storyteller, a creator of unique ways of saying things, keen insight, and an all around nice guy to boot, totally legitimizes him as the rock solid “Star” that he is…
Lots of Style filled with massively appealing and insightful, uplifting songs for all mature ages…

This is how music should be. Catchy Lyrics, Smooth transitions inside Beautifully Adorned Sonic Landscapes, all fueled by the All Powerful Truth”. Look for Great music produced into great songs that will keep you listening again and again.

Joey Craig can consistently play and write quality music that seems familiar somehow, but doesn’t have that repetitive “Same Old Thing” sound.

The bands that have incorporated the man consist of “The Joe Bunny Band”, then onto “Crash Course”, Joey’s second band and one of the great Seattle Sounds. He attributes that to his Ricky 12 String which was so prevalent on his early work. Then, off to “Hot-lanta” Georgia, where he teamed up with the tremendously gifted guitarist Jett Black. Along with Mikie on the Drums and Brian on the Bass, the “No Dice” brand became a staple around the Greater Atlanta area for some time. But being Seattle raised, he dropped the gig to return to his home in Seattle where he hit the ground running with Rich Valentine, aka Richie Rich on Drums to for “The Flash” Band, Penning “Queen of the Road” and “Rock and Roll Boys”, both of which were great rock songs recorded and released from an independent label which was currently in the process of signing the act to an even bigger deal. It was then that a personal tragedy occurred that kept him in “Musical Exclusion” for almost a decade. Then one day, sitting at a piano, the music flowed like never before and he then realized that he needed to find peace in his inner self. The kind of peace that only comes when a person tries to use their “God Given Gifts” to help build a better the world around them. So, On with the show…

Finding The World Once Again Reflecting Through Him, And His Music Being Freely Given to him, and Graciously Received by him, He is creating some of his best work to date.

Some Words From Joey Craig…

“Constantly try to nurture the generous spirit within you so that you can see the light in all things good. For those of us who live for gain alone live in the darkness and can not see the light. Those who live in the light can rejoice in the smallest of things and find peace of mind during the hardest of times simply through the grace of existence alone…” ~JC~
