Change

Change

If you took away, and turned to stone, all the tears man’s ever known,
You’d have a mountain oh so high, that you could climb through the sky.
If you lived a day for every time your fears, kept you away from what you said you’d do,
You’d find you’’d stray about a million years, and still not know where it’s leading to.

So now where you gonna go, now that It’s gone?
Will the memory of me still live on?
The times I’ve had are just a paisley haze, that stay with me for all of my days…

Cause I feel the change coming over me, and where I’m going to, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
Yes but it feels so strange, like here it comes again.
When I get there, I hope that someone’s gonna let me in.

Oh no, here it comes again. Oh woe… Oh no, here it comes again… Oh woe…

Take me to that riverside and wash my conscience clean
Cause I’ve been from here and there and back and all points in between
I’ve tasted bittersweet wine, with a lady oh so fine
And I’ve been dancing with the devil when I laid it all on the line…

Now I feel the change coming over me, and where I’m going to, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
Yes but it feels so strange, like here it comes again
When I get there, I hope that someone’s gonna let me in.

I feel the change coming over me, and where I’m going to, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
Yes but it feels so strange, like here it comes again.
When I get there, I hope that someone’s gonna let me in.

Oh no, here it comes again. Oh woe… Oh no, here it comes again…
Oh woe… Oh no, here it comes again. Oh woe… Oh no, here it comes again… Oh woe…

Yes if you took away, and turned to stone, all the tears that man’s ever known,
You’d have a mountain oh so high, that you could climb through the sky…
