Love Left Behind

Love Left Behind
By Joey Craig

Sometimes I find myself just thnking bout a girl who came along to change my world
Sometimes I find myself alone when I awake, and I can’t get you off of my mind
Met her in the back of a frieghttrain, LA bound out of South Seattle
And it brought to mind a certain song
She said shake me, yes and I’ll rock roll and rattle
I was so glad she was riding along

She said what you want to be, well it’s ok with me if it’s ok with you
yes and you know that that’s true
If we tale a little time, reason usually follows rhyme

Still I feel like I’m losing my mind
Yes and love’s the only reason I can find
It escapes me how I’ve lived through both the cruel and the kind
Memories of love left behind

Sometimes I find myself just thinking bout the world that came along to change my girl
Sometimes when I can’t take no more I know there’s so much more to fake
As those memories start to unwind

Thinking back to times of another
Feeliing like a rain in November
A time when love was much too cold to keep
And I knew it, when I tried not to remember
That those feelings they ran way too deep

She said what you want to be, well it’s ok with me if it’s ok with you
yes and you know that that’s true
If we tale a little time, reason usually follows rhyme

Still I feel like I’m losing my mind
Yes and love’s the only reason I can find
It escapes me how I’ve lived through both the cruel and the kind
Memories of love left behind

Memories of Love Left Behind
